How can i make it so that on my profile it shows thumbnails of all my friends rather than friends in my network. So instead of saying 'blah blah has 40 friends in this network' it says 'blah blah has 50 friends' [in total]

I don't know if you can. I've only ever seen that when someone isn't a member of any networks.
