theres the main profile, which is always active. i created another profile, and i want to test someone. we im all the time. if i send it under a new profile name, will the person have any way to know its me?

As long as you haven't sent the contact information to the other user for that sub/alias name, they should only see your Yahoo! ID.

Only if you tell them. If you know them that well they probably know how you type and junk. Other then if you did that, no. Just type a bit differently and talk a bit differently and they'll have no clue.
