Help! I can not change anything on my 360 profile.?

Okay, I have tried and tried to set up my 360 profile, but nohting works. I try to change the theme, it doesn't change.

I change my profile information, it still lists me as First L, and says I am a 26 year old male. Sorry, but I am a 43 year old woman, and First L is not my name.

I really wanted to set up this profile but don't know what to do now. I am so frustrated I just want to can it all.

I made several requests to Yahoo for help, but oddly have received no response. Normally if I have a question and have to contact Yahoo, I get a response pretty quick. I am beginning to think Yahoo 360 is just nothing but a hallucination on my part.

If this is not the page that you have been trying to fix your information on, then go to "Age" and "Gender" to fix it. Make sure you save it when leaving this page.
Do you go thru yahoo's home page in browser, sign in and this is what you get ??

And I am assuming that when you edit your profile info etc etc, you click "save" or "save and continue" in the lower right corner ?

Usually, First L is just something that is put in when someone wants to view a 360 page while not having one of their own and is prompting you to do up a 360 page.

If you don't sign in and get this, try starting over ??

p.s. sometimes the profile page kicks back because of the birthdate ... it's those darn little dashes *--* that seems to cause a lot of problems ... the birth day # replaces the dashes

change anything you like here. the effect is not instantaneous sometimes... it takes some hours and it sucks.

I have owned a Yahoogroups email list for several years. One of the members recently started "bouncing". She went to the group's site and clicked on the little message that said find out why you're bouncing. She was taken to what was apparently her profile, only it had been changed. Her first name had been removed so that her maiden and last names were left (which could easily be a male first name/last name.) It said she is a 23-year-old male (she is much older than 23), and there was an additional email address listed in besides her correct one. That one was a Hotmail addy.

I am concerned that my private email list may have been breached in some way.

Yes, this can happen. People keep trying passwords until they find out yours and then they change some onfo so that they also can get addresses from the list and use them for spam , ( which they sell to other spam marketing companies). The best thing is to log in , change your password to a combination of letters and numbers ( alternate) and then correct all your information.
Yes if they find your password and user name. Thats all it takes to access it. I suggest start a new one and delete all in the old one then never use it again and be more careful next time.

Go to your 360 My Page and click on Edit Contact Settings, then Basic Info.

Right under Yahoo! Identity Display, select the first option and save.

Then your regular Yahoo! profile will be back.

You have probably done everything right. I don't reply to some messages - because you get so many. You can send a message to people individually - then you usually get a reply. if you send a message to all your "friends" - they probably get lots and so don't expect a reply. I think bulletins - don't normally get replies.

no you can send them a message straight away, maybe they havnt been online or havnt read your message yet
some people dont reply due to the fact that they have loads of contacts and dont want any more or are just ignoring u .. dont give up hope there are plenty of friendly peeps out there !

I can't go to your 360 because you don't have it open to the public. Your Answers profile is showing up if that is part of your 360 profile.
