On a MYSPACE profile...if a person says "in a relationship" on week but "single"

does it sound like they can't decide if they want a relationship or not. When I first visited their profile...it said single. Then the next week...in a relationship...then another week...single.

I have a guy friend who is involved with this girl but she doesn't seem to be able to make up her mind.

It bothers me to see him get hurt and I want you to tell me what her constant change of heart signifies?

Why would she flip flop?

either because she wants her cake and eat it too. or she dont know how to tell one or the other she only wants to date the one. people who flip flop around about relationships are not good at a relationship.. thats the kind of person you dont want to be with..... hope that helps. good luck

maybe she doesnt know if she should love him.

talk to your friend and tell him to talk to the girl.

maybe they can work something out so they both wont get hurt.
She is a serial dater.....beware of such....they cannot commit, if that's what he wants.
I understand that you are being a good friend and trying to protect them from heartache, but thats none of your business. What goes on between them should be between them unless you witness your friends mate cheating on him in public then it becomes your business. Besides, myspace isn't serious at all. I'm on myspace and have that I am married, but i'm not, I'm in a serious relationship that feels like marriage, while I know others who put that they are in a relationship to keep the annoying preditors of the myspace world of her page.
Well, it's MYSPACE, no big deal. It is in no way similar to breaking up and getting back together with a boyfriend for real. Hell, it could be just cause she is bored. I know people listed as married to eachother on sites like facebook or myspace who have never even dated. Networking sites are for fun and talking to people, it's not always real-life that is posted on there. Ever seen the 99 year olds from mars who are 3'7", Catholic, and Divorced... yeah, hence my point.
just because they set it to "in a relationship" doesn't mean they are in one. and vice versa
i agree with ming and some other ppl.

just because they set it to " in a relationship" doesn't mean they are really in one.

c'mon it's myspace! how many ppl do you think put their " real" age ?

a friend of mine even put a fake pic which he found from the site named hot or not. he got more than 500 friends with that fake pic.
